Ken Brown Shares Vision for Duke Quantum Center
Ken Brown has been named director of the Duke Quantum Center for the next two years. In the role, Brown plans to expand partnerships across Duke, strengthen ties within the Research Triangle and position the region as a hub for quantum innovation. He will also continue to advance interdisciplinary quantum research and build educational pathways to train the next generation of quantum scientists and engineers. Brown succeeds founding director Christopher Monroe, who led the center since its launch in 2021.
The Duke Quantum Center has been supported by the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy (DOE).
