PARKING PLAYBOOK
The Mean Green are gearing up for their next home game as they take on Navy at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, at DATCU Stadium – and it’s a big one! Campus will be full of energy — and a LOT of visitors. To avoid traffic congestion and a potential parking citation, all vehicles, including all of those parked in Lot 20 and in lots surrounding DATCU Stadium, must be moved by 7 a.m. on Saturday to an Eagle lot on the east side of campus to avoid being towed to Lot 40. Students can begin moving their vehicles starting at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31.
Unless you have a game day parking pass, Lot 20 will not be available for parking during the game (vehicles in Lot 20 with resident permits also must be moved for this game), and no parking is allowed near DATCU Stadium without a game day parking pass. Vehicles parked in restricted areas (lots 20, 70-74, 76-77, 80-81 and 83-85) are subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
Plan ahead, move your vehicle early, and get your ticket to the game! Go Mean Green!

DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS
Student groups will celebrate this year’s Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, in the University Union Jade Ballroom. Experience a traditional Folklórico dance, contribute to a community ofrenda, discover the history behind the holiday and decorate your own sugar skull.
The day honors loved ones who have passed away and is traditionally celebrated on Nov. 1-2. This tradition, observed in Mexico, areas of Latin America and in the United States, celebrates life and remembrance through altars, or “ofrendas,” adorned with cempasúchil (marigold) flowers, food and candles.

SCOOTER SAFETY
Heads up! A new policy for micro-mobility devices, including electric scooters, could be implemented as soon as January 2026.
Under the new policy, all scooters must be secured by lock to bicycle racks when not in use. University Housing already prohibits scooters in residence halls, and the updated policy expands that restriction to all campus buildings. Additionally, charging scooter batteries will no longer be permitted on campus and must be done off site.
The policy is intended to enhance campus safety by reducing the risk of fire hazards. Violations of this policy will be addressed by the Dean of Students.
