The inaugural UTHSC Family Campaign ends Tuesday, February 28! The campaign has surpassed the goal of 500 donors across our six colleges, but every gift matters. The philanthropic campaign encourages members of the UTHSC family – faculty and staff – to support their workplace with a financial gift of any size and in any area that is important to them.

UTHSC Night with the Grizzlies

The annual UTHSC Night with the Grizzlies is Friday, March 24, at 7:00 pm. Buy a ticket by Wednesday, March 1, and you’ll also receive a free T-shirt and access to the pre-game shoot-around! If you want just the T-shirt, call 901.448.9487 before March 1 to order one for $15.

| 3rd Annual Opioid Conference
|
The 3rd Annual Opioid Conference is Friday, March 3, from 8:00 am – 4:45 pm at the Shelby Farms FedEx Event Center. Attendees will discuss and learn about the factors that lead to opiate dependency and misuse, and how medication-assisted therapy can help patients.

Run in the Race for Sight 5K
|
The Hamilton Eye Institute Lions Club’s 6th annual Brad Baker Honorary Race for Sight 5K is on Saturday, March 4, at 9:00 am at Shelby Farms Park. You can run the race in person or virtually or donate to the cause without running. Funds raised go toward providing eye care for the underserved.

| Volunteer at UTHSC's First IPE Day
|
UTHSC’s first Interprofessional Education (IPE) Day will be Friday, March 3, from 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm in the GEB and CHIPS Building. Volunteers are needed during the student luncheon at 12:00 and the breakout activities at 2:00. Faculty and staff are invited to listen to the keynote speaker on Zoom.
