WHITE HOUSE WORKING TO EXPAND STUDENT DEBT RELIEF
The Biden administration is continuing its efforts t0 ease the burden of student debt loans through a new proposal that will specifically address those individuals who are experiencing "hardships," and would likely not be able to repay their loans. This comes as the latest student debt relief effort from Biden's administration. The proposal outlines more than a dozen components that the administration will use to determine financial hardship, such as household income, history of loan repayment and receipt of a Pell grant. The proposal is now going through a lengthy rulemaking process.
