HIPAA Training Due Next Week!

There’s just over a week left to complete the annual HIPAA training! All students, postdocs, and residents are required to complete the training by Friday, May 31, to comply with UT System policies and federal regulations. The training is available through Blackboard.

May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month, and you can learn about how the disease is affecting our region this year at a Zoom talk Thursday, May 30, at 12:00 – 1:00 pm. Dr. Nicole Szafranski from UT Knoxville will provide an informative update with a southeastern perspective.

Postdocs and graduate students are invited to attend SciPhD’s one-day, complete “Get a Job” Prep Course Thursday, May 30, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, in Freeman Auditorium. The event will offer networking and insights about life beyond academia. Lunch will be provided for the first 75 attendees!
