Dear Addlestone Community,

This week, we want to take a moment to express our deep gratitude to the interim educators, administrators, and community leaders who have stepped up to the table and into our classrooms with such generosity, commitment, and care. We truly have remarkable people who care deeply about our school and demonstrate that love every day!

As we thoughtfully evaluate the best path forward for Addlestone, our focus remains clear: ensuring that our school is financially sustainable, academically excellent, and deeply rooted in our Jewish identity and community. We remain committed to providing an education that not only challenges and inspires our students but also nurtures their Jewish identity and strengthens their connection to Jewish values and traditions. We want our students to be well-educated and grounded so they can make well-informed decisions. Navigating the educational process requires collaboration, flexibility, and a shared belief in the importance of our school, its mission, and its future. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has answered that call.

Walking through Addlestone’s halls this week, that spirit of community is visible everywhere. You can see some of our community’s pulpit rabbis, including Rabbi Bart, Rabbi Mimran, and Rabbi Ravski, teaching classes, sharing their knowledge and perspectives, and, most importantly, bringing their commitment to our children directly into the classroom. Their willingness to step forward on behalf of Addlestone is a powerful reminder of the strong connection between our school and the broader Jewish community and of what makes this community so special.

These moments represent something far greater than simply stepping in to fill an immediate need. They reflect the strength of a community that comes together, shares its talents, and takes collective responsibility for the education and well-being of our most important asset: our children. Our students are learning from people who know them, believe in them, and are deeply invested in their growth not only as students but as individuals and as members of our Jewish community. In turn, our classrooms are benefiting from new perspectives, deeper connections, and the collective wisdom of those who have chosen to step forward. It is in moments like these that we are reminded that Addlestone is more than a school; it is a community built on shared values, meaningful relationships, and a common commitment to ensuring that our children and our school continue to thrive.

We are eternally grateful to everyone who is helping us build an even stronger and better-connected community. There is important work ahead of us, but seeing so many people come together on behalf of our students gives us tremendous confidence in what we can accomplish together.
