Approximately 19 experts will be selected to the program. The program activities will take place over 18 months starting in Fall 2024. In addition to thematic group collaboration, the selected grantees will participate in an individual Fulbright exchange of a minimum of six weeks up to three months (Finnish scholars will travel to the United States, and U.S. scholars will be able to come to Finland), as well as in-person seminars and ongoing virtual communication, all supporting the scholars’ collaborative research projects.

Based on Studs Terkel's best-selling book of interviews, 'Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day", the musical offers a vivid portrayal of often-overlooked workers, including schoolteachers, delivery personnel, waitstaff, masons, and stay-at-home parents, among others. This localized production of "Working" delves into our own communities, sharing the stories of passionate individuals within our neighborhoods. Real-life interviews serve as the lyrical narrative through song and dialogue, shedding light on the lives of community creators.
