Women's Rehabilitation Group Annual Scholarship |
Application Deadline: August 15, 2024 |
The Women's Rehabilitation Group Annual Scholarship aims to assist undergraduate students in need of financial support to continue their education in the Fall 2024 or Spring 2025 semester. To be eligible, students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics discipline.
Please note that this $1,000 scholarship is not available to students with a presidential scholarship or those fully covered by federal and state grants.

The New Jersey Space Grant Consortium (NJSGC), a NASA-funded program, is pleased to announce the availability of academic year 2024-2025 internships for undergraduate students majoring in science, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) at NJCU.
Internship Details:

The internship recipient must conduct research relevant to one of NASA’s missions as outlined on the NASA Program Directorate website: www.nasa.gov/about/directorates/index.html
- The intern must be a full-time student at NJCU. A faculty member at the university must agree to supervise the intern's research.
- The internship amount is $2,000 per student.
- By NASA mandate, only U.S. citizens are eligible.

- Gain exposure to NASA sciences and STEM resources.

| WANTED FOR ONLINE STUDY: Hispanic Immigrant parents raising children aged 5-10 |
The NJCU Department of Psychology is seeking non-U.S. born Hispanic immigrant parents raising a child aged 5-10 to volunteer in an online parental survey of 20-30 minutes. Responses are anonymous and will help the investigators understand challenges faced by migrant families in the U.S. Results will be disseminated for peer-review and used for intervention and training programs.

When we return for the Fall 2024 semester, we will continue the third significant component of our strategic planning process — the Strategic Plan for Student Development and Community Engagement.
Join us the week of September 9-13, 2024 for the Gallery Walk, where you will have the opportunity to recommend and prioritize key operational actions (KOAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using chart paper and Post-it Notes. This is the third part of the four-part process in developing the plan. As a reminder, parts one and two occurred in the Spring 2024 semester in the form of a survey and asynchronous town hall.
