Downtown Building Illumination Program
Hello downtown stakeholders,
The holidays may seem far away, but they are just around the corner. Now is the time to start thinking about holiday decorations for your building. The Downtown Tucson Partnership is here to make it easy and economical for you through the Building Illumination Program.
We are encouraging property owners to light the roof line of their buildings again this year with commercial grade LED light line and clips. Last year, 58 downtown buildings participated and we’d like to increase that number.
The program is a cooperative, organized effort that will ensure straight and secure light lines with consistent color and wattage while meeting the parameters established in the Dark Sky Ordinance. The light line will illuminate a striking silhouette of Tucson’s unique skyline.
The Building Illumination Program is part of the larger Desert Nights Downtown Lights cross-promotional campaign, featuring five weeks of festivities in Downtown Tucson.
Click below for more detailed information about the Building Illumination Program including how to purchase product and steps/tips for returning participants.
Feel free to contact Zach Baker at zach@downtowntucson.org with questions.

**ATTENTION: Light lines should be removed and properly stored at the conclusion of each season (by January 15) to extend the longevity of the product.
IF YOU DID NOT REMOVE AND STORE YOUR LIGHT LINE FROM LAST YEAR - YOU WILL LIKELY NEED TO RE-BULB YOUR ENTIRE LINE. THE SUN IS VERY DAMAGING TO THE BULBS AND WIRING SYSTEMS. (CLICK THE BUTTON ABOVE FOR REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS).
