Please save the date for the 7th annual Partners For Kids’ Administrative Retreat titled, “Optimizing Clinic Success: Tools, Safety and Team Engagement.” The retreat will be on Friday, June 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This will be a hybrid event, so you can join us virtually or in-person at Dayton Children's Hospital Tech Town location. Please register by Friday, May 16.

Congratulations, Emily Hayslett!
Congratulations to Emily Hayslett as she transitions from the Partners For Kids’ patient outreach coordinator to the newest quality improvement coach for the West Region. Emily has worked with many of our West Region practices on their quality improvement projects over the last few years. She is also completing the Dayton Children's Intermediate Quality Improvement Class (IQIC), which is a 9-month course based on the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) methodology. In her new role, she will be working on well-child visit projects.

Updated Management Guidelines for Pediatric Insomnia
Partners For Kids has updated the Management Guidelines for Pediatric Insomnia, designed to help primary care practitioners provide effective treatment for children with difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep. The guidelines include clinical recommendations, sleep hygiene tips, evaluation tools, medication information and more.

If a provider is credentialed through Partners For Kids, we need to notify the Managed Care Plans when there is a change. Examples of changes include, a provider termination or retirement, new providers joining Partners For Kids, capacity updates, practice location changes, and change to a practitioner’s collaborating physician.
