Keeping Scorely: Ashley Gorley won his 11th Country Music Songwriter of the Year honor at the 62nd ASCAP Country Music Awards last night (11/18) in downtown Nashville, extending his record as the most awarded ASCAP songwriter in the format. Chris Stapleton was named Songwriter/Artist of the Year. The Morgan Wallen-recorded "Last Night" (co-written by Gorley) won for Song of the Year, making it Gorley's fourth win in that category. Sony Music Publishing earned Publisher of the Year honors for the 11th time, scoring 24 of the year's 50 most-performed country songs, all of which were recognized during the ceremony.

WWWW's Seller Exits: Cumulus WWWW/Ann Arbor, MI PD/morning co-host Aaron "Goose" Seller has exited. Co-hosts Madison Rally and Brian Welch remain in place in mornings. No word on plans for the PD post. Seller joined WWWW last year (CAT 7/6/23) after a year at sister WDRQ/Detroit (CAT 4/5/22). Chronicle: Former BBRMG VP/Radio Syndication & Group Strategy Renee Bledsoe Leymon is mourning the loss of her father, Ron Bledsoe. His career began at WHIN/Gallatin while he was still in high school, with subsequent stops at WTVF-TV/Nashville and Columbia Records, where he served as VP of the country division. Bledsoe later purchased WHIN and changed the call letters to WWKX, which covered more than 100 counties in TN, KY, IN and AL. Bledsoe also has producer credits with artists including Vicki Carr, Roger Miller, Mac Davis, Earl Scruggs and David Allen Coe. Reach Leymon here.
