The ISSS phone and front desk on the University Center's fifth floor are open for general questions and assistance, Monday–Friday from 9 a.m.–4 p.m. We highly encourage you to communicate with us using the chat feature on our website during our business hours. You can also connect with us via email, reach us by phone at (415) 422-2654, or schedule an appointment with your ISSS adviser.

Submit a request in MyISSS! MyISSS allows students to submit requests to ISSS and view information and announcements from our office. Students can also use this page to view the status of their current requests and view all past requests submitted through the portal. In MyISSS, you can view your personal information, see your ISSS adviser's name, and update your U.S. and foreign addresses. For additional information, please view the MyISSS Portal Handbook.

Health Insurance Waiver: For any students who want to waive the USF health insurance plan, the waiver criteria can be found here. The waiver site is open and will close on Sept. 1. Follow this link if you would like to waive the USF health insurance plan.

Day on the Green is open to all USF students to learn about Koret's Rec Sports programs and services! Meet club sports officers, learn about welcome weekend and outdoor adventure trips, discover on-campus job opportunities, and get updates about group fitness classes and personal training. Free t-shirts will be given to the first 500 attendees.

Cultural Centers Open House |

The Cultural Centers include the Gender & Sexuality Center and the Intercultural Center. The centers serve as both physical spaces on campus where students build community, as well as outlets for student-run programs that explore social issues and identity.

Conversation Partner Program |
The Academic English for Multilingual Students AEM Program matches international students (for whom English is not the primary language) at USF with members of the USF community who are highly proficient English speakers and have deep knowledge of American culture. Conversation partners meet regularly throughout the semester, approximately once a week for at least an hour, and talk about anything they want.

Learning Center Workshop Resources |
USF offers academic assistance to all students through The Learning Center, The Writing Center, and The Speaking Center. Services are available at no additional cost to USF students and include subject-specific tutoring, writing assistance, and communications-related support. The Learning Center also provides opportunities for academic skill development, through one-on-one academic skills coaching, group workshops, and online resources.

If you are requesting an immigration document or letter from our office, remember that we request ten business days to process requests. Make sure you plan accordingly so you have enough time to receive your document before you need it. All ISSS requests should be submitted through the MyISSS student portal (log into your MyISSS account, go to Requests & Documents, and select the appropriate icon on the right side of the page). You can view our MyISSS Student Handbook for assistance with your submission.
