As we prepare to celebrate July 4, I want to wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday. This is not only a time to come together as friends and family to celebrate our great nation’s independence, but a time to appreciate the remarkable journey of progress our country has made and how we continue to take on new challenges—together.
As we enjoy the upcoming holiday, I am pleased to share some updates from our University and express my gratitude for your support. The UTA community is buzzing with enthusiasm as we prepare for the semester ahead. We have some exciting projects in the works, including our new Greek Life Center, which we expect to start construction on next month.
On the research front, I am incredibly proud to highlight the strong and life-changing studies taking place at our University. Our esteemed researchers are making remarkable strides in an array of fields, addressing pressing global challenges and pushing the boundaries of human knowledge. From advancements in cardiovascular disease to supporting our nation’s military technological capabilities, their work is shaping a brighter future.
I personally am taking this time to appreciate the values that bind us together as a community and our focus on academics, research, and public service. Thanks to your support, our University continues to flourish, and we are creating a prosperous future for all.
