EC Friendship Day was filled with smiles, kindness, and creativity! Our young learners had a blast making friendship bracelets with their parents, celebrating the joy of connection and the importance of being a good friend. We kicked off Shabbat bags, encouraging families to welcome Shabbat together. At AHA, we believe friendships formed in these early years can last a lifetime, and teaching kindness, empathy, and inclusion helps lay the foundation for strong relationships. Thank you to all the parents who joined us for this special day! Share your photos of Friendship Day and your Shabbat play dates with us on social using #myahamoment.
Gan Rimon (kindergarten) celebrated 100 Days of School with a day full of exciting, hands-on learning stations! From building, counting, and reading to painting and problem-solving, our students embraced the milestone with enthusiasm:
  • Building towers with 100 cups
  • Reading 100 CVCe words
  • Solving 100 addition problems
  • Finding 100 Hershey’s Kisses to complete a hundreds chart
  • Painting 100 spots on a Dalmatian
  • Stringing necklaces with 100 colorful beads

What a fantastic way to mark this special moment in their kindergarten journey!
Fifth grade is diving into an in-depth study of volcanoes, focusing on the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens. Through hands-on learning, students used two-dimensional contour maps to construct three-dimensional models, visualizing how the mountain changed before and after the eruption. This project combines critical thinking, geography, and scientific observation, reinforcing key concepts in an engaging and interactive way.
Mazel tov (congratulations) to SECOND grade, who clinched the title for the class with the most points! PLUS, a special huge shoutout to SIXTH Grade, who won for the most points per student! Way to go!  Together, we raised an incredible $1300. Half of this will help fund the 8th-grade trip this year, while the rest goes towards future capstone trips to Israel. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated! #amyisraelchai

Reminder: Friday, March 14 is noon dismissal for all students. Please ensure all costumes follow the spirit of the AHA dress code: modesty rules apply, and no toy weapons.
