As UT launches its university-wide Faculty Staff Experience Survey, we at UT L&D wanted to provide you with some tools and information about Employee Experience (EX). Specifically, this month’s newsletter is focusing on Action Planning, but we have also created an entire EX & Action Planning resource page with information we hope will help you understand, explain, and discuss these important concepts.

For information about UT-Austin’s current Faculty and Staff Experience Survey, visit Change Starts with Us Survey. If you haven’t done so already, please complete your survey as soon as possible, and encourage your team to do so as well. Everyone’s input is important. Deadline is March 8.

That last stage before starting the iterative process over again, action planning, is what makes an effective employee engagement strategy come to life. Without it, issues remain unresolved and engagement levels, at best, don’t improve.

An engagement survey is just the beginning of motivating employees. In fact, if you just do a survey and nothing more, employee engagement will likely decrease and turnover will increase.
