Materials Morph for Easier Health Monitoring
Xiaoyue Ni, an assistant professor at Duke University, is developing wearable technology that goes beyond simple activity tracking, aiming to monitor everything from heart rate to brain function in real-time. Her research focuses on creating flexible, skin-like electronic devices that can provide non-invasive, continuous health monitoring. Ni's work has applications in diverse areas, including sleep patterns, exercise, and communication for patients with ALS and dementia.
