Reminder that all students are welcome to come to the International Student Center (MacMillan Hall, room 017), Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, for a place to study, take a break from studying, or get connected with campus and community resources. Limited printing, hot water, cooking appliance, global beverages and snacks are also available, along with the following regularly scheduled services:

Are you living on-campus and observing Ramadan this spring? If you live on campus, you can request your meals to go so you can eat them after sunset.

A Night with Marcus Samuelsson: A Career of Chasing Flavor
|
Marcus Samuelsson, an internationally acclaimed chef and television personality, will participate in a keynote presentation and a question-and-answer session. A book signing will take place during a reception directly following the program. At the reception, guests will be treated to hors d’oeuvres, dessert, and beverages.

Wildflower Walks
Three Valley Conservation Trust will hold wildflower walks at Silvoor Biological Sanctuary where over 60 species of wildflowers call the sanctuary home. The walks are led by members of Miami’s biology department and other wildflower enthusiasts. Wear sturdy shoes - trails may be steep or have exposed roots. No reservations required. The filing deadline for 2022 taxes is April 18, 2023! Sprintax offers several live webinars that cover topics such as who must file, tax residency, FICA, State returns, implications of misfiling, as well as how to use Sprintax to prepare a compliant tax return. We strongly urge you to attend one of these webinars.

Global Friendship Picnic on Sunday, April 23

Save the date for our Global Friendship Picnic on Sunday, April 23 from 12pm - 2pm at Peffer Park.
Games, fried chicken, veggies and dip, and drinks will be provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring a food dish and/or game to share.
