Advancing a Culture of Assessment Conference, Friday, April 18 – Save the Date & Call for Proposals |
In partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education, we are pleased to be organizing and hosting this year’s regional conference of Advancing a Massachusetts Culture of Assessment (AMCOA).
The theme of this year’s conference is Assessing Equity Across the Curriculum and Co-Curriculum Divide.

We would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to submit a proposal to be a workshop facilitator. Here are some guiding questions:

What can student life, student support, career services, and advising professionals learn from curricular assessments?
- How can co-curricular assessments provide helpful information to teaching faculty?
- What are innovative ideas for ensuring students learn?
- How can academic and co-curricular staff collaborate to achieve a more holistic outcomes assessment?

How does academia connect to its local, national, and international communities?

We hope to find colleagues to design and lead one-hour workshops in the morning or afternoon. The sessions should engage and encourage participants to implement innovative practices in their program or classroom. We hope to create materials in these workshops that honor the work and help spread innovative practices.
