These past few months have been filled with many activities including cancer prevention presentations with our community collaborators, attending a variety of events, and hosting webinars on cervical and colorectal cancer, and HPV vaccination. | Cancer Disparities in San Diego |
Join us for Better Health Through Better Understanding: Cancer Disparities in San Diego, April 26th at 12p highlighting National Minority and Multicultural Health Month.
This webinar is free and open to all those interested. We will review the cancer burden in San Diego County and research addressing disparities from our colleagues.

| San Diego & Imperial County Cervical Screening Needs Assessment |
San Diego State University is conducting a survey to determine the needs of cervical screening providers in San Diego and Imperial Counties in partnership with UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center and SD PATH - Protecting AgainsT HPV.
This study, a one-time questionnaire about cervical screening and HPV, is open to all physicians and advanced practice nurses that perform cervical screenings in San Diego or Imperial Counties. It should take 10-15 minutes to complete, and the results will be used to create continuing medical education courses tailored to our local clinicians. Eligible participants that complete the survey will receive a $10 Starbucks gift card as our thanks for your participation.
In order to be eligible to participate, you must:

- Be a clinician whose scope of practice includes cervical cancer screenings
- Perform cervical screenings as part of your current practice
- Work in San Diego or Imperial County
