MAGNIFY | Strengthening Our NA Community
| |
Last week, Jan. 18–24, we celebrated National CRNA Week on our social media channels, joining the national recognition of the 75,000+ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists and residents who play a vital role in anesthesia care. Across operating rooms, delivery suites, and trauma settings, CRNAs support patients through their most vulnerable moments with skill, compassion, and steady expertise.
| |
We also celebrated a meaningful milestone with the inaugural NA Scrub Cap Campaign. Thanks to the generosity of 53 alumni donors, the effort reached full funding within days, raising $2,925 to provide scrub caps for every student in the Nurse Anesthesia program. Supported by a proud network of nearly 740 nurse anesthetist alumni, including 58 DNAP graduates, this new tradition strengthens the connection between alumni and students and offers a visible reminder of the community standing behind them.

SOMC Celebrates 2026 Healthcare Continuing Education Professionals Day
Healthcare Continuing Education Professionals Day™, observed annually on the Friday of the third full week in January, recognizes the dedicated professionals who work behind the scenes to ensure clinicians remain current in medical knowledge, clinical practice, and team-based care, supporting high-quality, safe patient outcomes.
Why It Matters
