Finals are here, Eagles! Reading Day is Friday, May 1, which means there is no class unless you have a class that only meets on Fridays. Exams start the next day on Saturday, May 2, and end Thursday, May 7. Make sure to check the exam schedule to verify the dates and times for your exams. Classes will have their exams in their regular meeting space, unless you’re notified otherwise by your instructor.
Don’t let finals stress you out! Take a break from finals studying with some crafts at the Finals Stress Relief sessions from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, April 29 and 30, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 1, in the University Union, Room 214.

Graduates, with only one more week until commencement, immortalize your time here with UNT’s Ring Ceremony. If you’ve ordered a class ring, you can pick it up starting at 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, before the ceremony starts at 4:30 p.m. The ceremony has been moved to the UNT Super Pit due to predicted inclement weather. Check your student email for details about the event.

Also, don’t miss the opportunity to be part of one last event with your class at the Farewell Toast from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at the Alumni Pavilion next to DATCU Stadium. Bring up to four guests with you and enjoy live music, refreshments and a special toast. You must be 21 or older with a valid government-issued ID to drink wine, but non-alcoholic options also are available. The deadline to register for the toast is Monday, May 4.

If you're an undergraduate student within three semesters of graduating, you should have received an invitation in your UNT email on April 20 to participate in the Strada State Opportunity Index (SOI) survey. The survey only takes about 10-15 minutes to complete, and your feedback will help UNT continue to develop valuable work-integrated learning and career-connected experiences for students.
| |
The survey is open through Friday, May 8. The first 200 students to complete the survey will receive a $10 UNT Flex Dining card, and all students who participate will be entered into a drawing for two $50 Tango gift cards.
