Congrats to Our New Grads!

Degrees will be presented to 83 graduates during UTHSC’s 2023 Summer Commencement ceremony Monday, August 21, at 10:00 am, at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. The graduates include 32 from the College of Graduate Health Sciences and 51 from the College of Nursing. The ceremony will be streamed live on the commencement webpage.

7th-Annual RKSTC Art Show and Auction
|
The Rachel Kay Stevens Therapy Center’s 7th-annual Art Show and Auction will be held online from 8:00 am, August 25, to 5:00 pm, August 28. The Rachel Kay Stevens Therapy Center is a pro bono, pediatric occupational therapy clinic run by UTHSC occupational therapy students.

| Conversations on Health Disparities

Take part in a Conversation on Health Disparities Wednesday, August 30, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, in GEB A103. In this conversation, participants will learn how cultural humility can make for more compassionate and effective health care providers. Lunch will be provided to those who RSVP.

Lichterman Award Deadline Tomorrow!
|
The Lichterman Award is open for nominations through tomorrow, August 18. Full-time, non-exempt UTHSC or University Clinical Health employees with at least three years of service at UTHSC are eligible. The award honors the memory of Tommy Lichterman and his dedicated service to UTHSC as a messenger for 11 years.
