A heartfelt thank you to our friends at the Charleston Symphony Orchestra for bringing the magic of music to Addlestone! Our students were captivated by the Woodwind Quartet, exploring different instruments and engaging in a thoughtful Q&A.
For students with a passion for מוּסִיקָה (music), Addlestone Hebrew Academy offers an enriching program that progresses from percussion to recorder, ukulele, and guitar, plus after-school enrichment in piano and more!
Third graders recently completed an outstanding Ecosystem Project. They conducted in-depth research using at least three sources, designed detailed dioramas, crafted well-structured essays, and applied their public speaking skills to present how biotic and abiotic elements interact within various ecosystems.  Incorporating key vocabulary from their science unit, they showcased critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in public speaking and presenting
Kol Hakavod (way to go!) to our third graders for their hard work and impressive projects!
Over the past two weeks, Mrs. Jennifer's first graders have focused on the moon, exploring its eight phases and how they appear in the night sky. They created identification tools with paper plates  and cut-out models, and reinforced their learning with a hands-on challenge: recreating moon phases with Oreo cookies! YUM!
Our amazing EC teachers are checking in from the annual South Carolina Early Childhood Association (SCECA) Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC! Continuous learning and professional development opportunities like this help us bring the best to our students every day.
A huge thank you to AHA parents, Eran and Jennifer Maron, for hosting us and for the incredible hospitality while we’re out of town! Toda Rabah!

We joined Addlestone after attending Camp Shalom. We noticed almost immediately the difference in our daughter's confidence when she attended Camp Shalom. We knew after that experience that we wanted her at Addlestone full time. Since our daughter joined the EC program, we have been absolutely amazed at her social emotional and academic progress. She is happy, confident, engaged, and absolutely thriving. The teachers and staff have gone above and beyond to support our family through some challenges, and we couldn't be happier knowing how safe and cared for our daughter is at Addlestone. We love being part of this community and wouldn't change this experience for anything. Thank you, Addlestone!
Interested in becoming our next featured family? Please email Danna Cook at danna.cook@addlestone.org with your "AHA Moment," and share the moment you realized Addlestone was home!
