I hope you're having a wonderful and productive start to the school year. Thank you for updating the School Safety Contact List and for sharing the names and email addresses of new SROs/SSOs in your district.
At this point, all counties in our region have begun their 2025–2026 Monthly County School Safety Meetings. These meetings are designed to:

Strengthen collaboration between districts
- Share resources and best practices
- Foster coordination between First Responders and the Department of Emergency Management
|
If you’d like to attend, please contact me and I’ll be happy to add you to the Evite.
I'm also pleased to announce the launch of monthly SRO/SSO meetings designed to foster regional connection, share trends and information, discuss training and professional development opportunities, and build relationships that support resource sharing for student well-being.
If your SRO or SSO has not received an invitation to these meetings, please let me know and I’ll make sure they’re added.
We also have a few seminars and webinars that may be of interest to you. Please take a moment to review the newsletter and attend any sessions that align with your school’s needs.
