Have you ever wrestled with the question, “Do I Stay Christian?” You’re not alone. Join us for a six-session study of Brian McLaren’s book, Do I Stay Christian? A Guide for the Doubters, the Disappointed, and the Disillusioned.

McLaren doesn’t push for easy answers. Instead, he invites us to reflect honestly and faithfully on how we live out both our faith and our humanity. Register and learn more at this link

Join us for a day of reflection on how the Church is changing in digital culture. Keynoter Jeffrey Mahan says that most congregations are ill-prepared for the forms of Christian life that are emerging. He describes and in a series of small group conversations we will explore: 1) a shift to seeing Christian identity as an ongoing construction project, 2) the development of fluid networked forms of community, and 3) the emergence of less hierarchical and more conversational forms of leadership. Learn more and register at this link.

"Tuned Into God While Plugged into Tech"

Today's technology can be an incredible blessing, but it can also be a source of anxiety, distraction, and depression for our kids and ourselves.  It can also further disconnect us from God’s world and each other.  It can make life easier, but not always more joyful. The question becomes how can we best use these gifts of technology and still stay connected to God’s Kingdom?

The Open Circle Sunday school class (office area, second floor) will study “Tuned into God While Plugged into Tech” starting Sept 7.  We'll be using resources from “The Anxious Generation” by Jonathan Haidt and “The Tech-Wise Family” by Andy Crouch, as well as podcasts from “Become New with John Ortberg”.
