Join the Outdoors Club on Saturday, February 1, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. for fun in the snow. The group will meet at the HUB Circle to take part in a refreshing hike in White Woods. It may be cold, but the scenic trails and crisp winter air may be just what you need. Warm hot chocolate will be provided.

Do you enjoy playing games and cards? Join the Analog Gaming Club on Sunday, February 2, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in Delaney Hall, room 225, to join in on the fun. All are invited, and students may bring their favorite board or card games to the meeting.

Throughout February, STATIC and Campus Recreation Services are sponsoring a month-long Duckpin Bowling event in the STATIC Lounge. Check in at the front desk, take a photo of your scorecard, and turn it in when your game ends. The top score and top series (three games combined) will win prizes at the end of the month.

Life can and should be meaningful, exciting, and fulfilling. It is essential to reflect and plan to build such a life intentionally. Join us for what has been, for many, a transformative workshop to learn how to use design principles to review your life, refocus on what matters to you most, and build a career and life that is meaningful and makes you happy. Refreshments, door prizes, and attendance vouchers will be available. All are welcome to attend on Wednesday, February 5, at 3:30 p.m. in Leonard Hall, room 216.

Creating a vision is an integral part of making your dreams come true! Join us for a Vision Board Party on Friday, February 7, at 2:30 p.m. so you can craft your vision into reality. Sponsored by Student Wellness and Engagement, we will do a brief presentation on our Wellness Coaching program, and then you will have time to create your vision board!

This Six O’Clock Series event will also go over note-taking and study strategies. Light refreshments will be served. All are invited to attend on Monday, February 3, at 6:00 p.m.

This free workshop from the Kathleen Jones White Writing Center introduces undergraduate and graduate writers on how to avoid plagiarism, including through papers written in coursework and at the honors thesis, MA thesis, or dissertation stage. The workshop will cover cultural expectations, reading and citation strategies, managing many sources, and self-citation. We will also discuss iThenticate, used by the graduate school for the submission of a thesis or dissertation. All students are welcome to attend this workshop on Wednesday, February 5, at 7:00 p.m. in Stabley 210 or via Zoom.
