Happy New Year UCSB Affiliates! ✨
2025 was a year of renewed momentum for the UCSB Affiliates, and we look forward to continued growth in 2026. As the new year begins, our Board is meeting to explore programs that will expand our reach within the Santa Barbara & Goleta communities. We are also working to grow our board membership and volunteer committees to incorporate new ideas and perspectives. Above all, we remain focused on our mission to foster a strong sense of engagement between UCSB and the local community.
Looking Ahead: We are kicking off the year with a return to Profs at the Pub. Join us as Dr. Joan Dudney explores the Fascinating Science of Resilience on Monday, February 9th at M Special in downtown Santa Barbara. From speaker series to community mixers, our upcoming events are designed to spark conversation and deepen our local connections.
If you are passionate about UCSB and its unique role in our region, please consider joining us for an exciting 2026!
Until next time,
Tom Jevens '87
