You do not need a YouTube account in order to see and hear either service. Just go to youtube.com/@wellumc and click the live video at the top of the page.

Not able to tune in live? No problem -- video recordings will be available on the church's website wellumc.org, and on our YouTube page, so please join us any time!

All are invited to our Meet at the Well potluck luncheon—a simple, meaningful time to gather as a church family, share a meal, and enjoy fellowship together. Whether you’ve been part of Wellspring for years or are newer to the community, we hope you’ll come and be part of it.

This will also be a time to celebrate and share how God is at work in and through Wellspring, as we reflect on where we’ve been and look ahead together.

Please sign up to bring a dish or to help with setup or cleanup, if you’re able: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/8050B45AFA923A75-church#/

Caring for Our Unhoused Neighbors in Georgetown

This summer, many of our unhoused neighbors in Georgetown will face extreme heat with limited access to shelter, showers, and consistent meals. Our Mercy and Justice Team is partnering with the Georgetown Coalition, KatKares, and Wesleyan to support approximately 50 individuals with essential care items for summer.

We are collecting:

+Mosquito wipes, spray, or wristbands

+Sunscreen

+Antiseptic for bug bites

+Sunglasses

+Portable fans

+Bar soap

+Deodorant

These simple items help protect health and offer dignity during the hottest months of the year.

Please bring donations May 1- 20 and place them in the collection bin.

Faithful Resistance: A Conversation on Immigration

Monday, May 18 | 6:30 PM (Zoom)

All are invited to join in a thoughtful and grace-filled conversation on immigration.

Together, we’ll be guided by a powerful sermon from Bishop LaTrelle Miller Easterling, rooted in Psalm 24 and connected to the creation stories and the teachings of Jesus. Her message invites us to consider what it means to live as people of God in a world shaped by borders, policies, and human need.

This gathering will be a space for reflection, listening, and honest sharing as we consider how our faith shapes the way we engage this important and complex topic. Wherever you find yourself, you are welcome.

Come ready to listen, share, and seek together. Register to receive the zoom link and information about advance preparation.

This class studies the weekly worship sermon... The Ministry of Creating Space
John 14:1-14.  Jesus’s dwelling place is not a physical location, it’s a “space” that Jesus creates, and calls us to do the same. That space is about accepting not only every person, but accepting all the parts of each person, as they are and as they are becoming.  Contact Neal Baumwart (nbaumwart@hotmail.com) or Ronna Keagle (rrkeagle@gmail.com)

“Vanishing Grace” by Philip Yancey
This study tackles challenging/timely questions and offers a discerning look at what contributes to the rising hostility toward Christians - acknowledging the ways that Christians themselves have contributed to this hostility and exploring how we can respond with both grace and truth.
