For more than six years, Brent has been one of the most valuable behind-the-scenes contributors to Builders for Babies. As co-owner of Colorado Custom Flag alongside his wife, Kim, both have become integral volunteers during Builders for Babies Distribution Day.
Brent is the master of the day-of logistics. From coordinating necessary equipment to overseeing the unloading and organization of more than 1 million diapers by size, Brent plays a critical role in keeping the day running seamlessly.
| |
| Thanks to his planning and logistical expertise, care providers can efficiently drive through the distribution area and receive the optimal allocation of diapers for the families they serve.
We would not have been able to grow Builders for Babies to its current scale without Brent's leadership, dedication, and logistical expertise guiding the way.
Thank you, Brent, for your many years of service and commitment to helping children and families across Colorado access these essential resources.

GET TO KNOW THE HOMEAID COLORADO BOARD OF DIRECTORS |
| -
Began volunteering with HomeAid Colorado in 2018 and served on the Board of Directors for six years.
- Has contributed in countless ways over the years, including serving as a trusted HR resource, helping HomeAid hire team members, and playing an active role on the Growlers, Grapes & Spirits, and Builders for Babies committees.
-
Most inspired by opportunities to connect with care providers and hear firsthand how HomeAid’s work impacts individuals and families at risk of homelessness. A particularly memorable moment was volunteering with family, coworkers, and the HomeAid team to build raised garden beds at BeyondHome, where hearing residents’ stories and learning about the challenges they had overcome brought the impact of HomeAid’s work to life.
-
Favorite ways to spend time with family: skiing, paddleboarding, hiking, disc golf, attending Husker football games, and traveling with friends.
- What “home” means: Home isn’t a location. It’s being surrounded by loved ones, pets, friends, and people that bring you their best! Home is about creating memories that stay with you for a lifetime.

Possibilities for Design Helped Prepare Blue Stem for Its First Families |
A huge thank you to Possibilities for Design and the HBA's YLC (the Home Builders Association's Young Leaders Council) for coming together to help furnish a townhome at Savio House's new Blue Stem community!
Possibilities for Design generously sponsored one of the bedrooms, while the YLC rolled up their sleeves to assemble and set up furniture, helping turn these spaces into homes for the families who will soon move in.
| |
Blue Stem is the first supportive family housing program of its kind in the nation, allowing families to stay together while a parent receives substance use disorder treatment. The community includes six townhomes designed to provide stability, support, and healing for both parents and children, helping prevent family separation during treatment.
The first family will move in on July 6, and we’re honored to play a small part in helping create a warm and welcoming place for them to call home.

Pulte Homes helps Lifespan Local prepare for Builders for Babies |
At Pulte Homes Colorado, giving back is more than a company initiative. It is a core part of the team's culture.
Recently, employees volunteered at a HomeAid Care Day with Lifespan Local, helping organize and create storage space for diapers received through HomeAid Colorado's Builders for Babies program. The team sorted clothing, cleared storage areas, and helped prepare the organization to efficiently receive and distribute hundreds of diapers to local families.
Brian Fogarty, Division President of Pulte Homes Colorado, shared that giving back to the community is a value embraced throughout the organization, alongside building great places to live.
By volunteering at Lifespan Local, the Pulte team helped extend the impact of Builders for Babies beyond Distribution Day, ensuring that diapers and wipes are accessible and ready for mothers, children, and caregivers who depend on them.

CAGE Engineering: An Inaugural Care Day! |
CAGE Engineering recently joined HomeAid Colorado for its inaugural Care Day at BeyondHome, lending both skill and manpower to support ongoing renovations at the property. The team jumped right into demolition work, helping move the project forward with impressive efficiency and expertise.
Volunteer projects like this play an important role in helping BeyondHome improve and expand its housing communities. By contributing labor and professional skills, volunteers help reduce renovation costs, allowing more resources to be directed toward supporting the families BeyondHome serves.
Thank you to the CAGE Engineering team for rolling up your sleeves and making a meaningful difference. We are grateful for your partnership and look forward to working together again in the future.
