What is 50 North?

50 North helps adults over the age of 50 connect with others in the same life stage who are wanting to find new purpose during the second half of life.

Whether you are planning for retirement, becoming an empty nester, or well into your senior years, this ministry is for you! A variety of activities and gatherings are planned each month with more opportunities to come. Learn more at st.lukes.org/50north.

Join others who are on the same journey of discovery as we seek meaning and purpose in our lives together Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. online starting January 9 or Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. on campus starting January 10. New in January: "Elders Rising" Book Study 

In this inspiring book, Roland D. Martinson draws on the folk wisdom and experience of over fifty persons between the ages of 62 and 97. He puts this wisdom in conversation with scriptural and theological understandings of elders in the last third of life and sets forth perspectives on aging for individuals and groups to utilize in developing a vital, resilient, and productive quality of life for elders. Free Knitting / Crocheting Class on Wednesdays!

Learn how to create handmade prayer shawls, hats, and more for local hospitals and congregation members while making new friends on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Barnes Learning Center (second floor of Founder’s Hall) Room 210. Transportation Ministry

Do you need a ride to a doctor’s appointment, medical treatment, grocery store, pharmacy, etc.? Contact the Care Office at 407.876.4991 ext. 262 or email care@st.lukes.org to arrange for a transportation volunteer to take you free of charge. Please give us five to seven days’ notice so that we may find a driver. Volunteers needed! Contact the Care Office for more info.

• 11:15 a.m. Blended Service with Communion in the Sanctuary 

St. Luke’s offers worship live on Facebook at 9:30 a.m. (Contemporary) and 11:15 a.m. (Traditional).

Children’s programming for infants through 5th graders during 9:30 a.m. on-campus worship services is available.

Meals on Wheels

Did you know that 1 in 6 seniors may not know where their next meal will come from? Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to seniors in the west Orlando area. Join a team that rotates a weekly delivery – you can serve once every 8 weeks or every week. Contact serve@st.lukes.org to get involved.
