Adam Paulisick Named to Technical.ly's 2023 RealLIST Connectors

| Adam Paulisick, Tepper School of Business adjunct professor, co-organizer of XchangePGH with Kit Mueller and serial entrepreneur, has been named to Technical.ly's RealLIST Connectors. Adam is currently the co-founder of Skillbuilder.io and an investor and advisor to several startups. He is also a mentor to startups and a regular contributor to programming at the CMU Swartz Center.

Hardly Launches Outplacement Services

| Hardly, a CMU startup founded by CMU Tepper School of Business alumna Allison Braund-Harris focused on bringing career development to more people, has announced the launch of its outplacement services. Outplacement services not only help when downsizing a company's workforce, but can also aid in talent acquisition as an added benefit in case of future layoffs.

Fellowship Launches to Train Underrepresented Individuals for Leadership Posts at Pittsburgh Tech Companies

A fellowship program looking to source underrepresented individuals in the region's tech scene has launched to help equip these people for leadership posts at local automation and robotics companies. The Promoting Emerging Entrepreneurs in Robotics (PEER) Fellowship is an effort created by Oakland-based nonprofit InnovatePGH and in partnership with Carnegie Mellon University, Women In Tech PGH and the Equity Impact Center.

James R. Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellow Serena Dao Speaks On Her MBA Internship at Living Carbon

| Serena Dao (MBA 2024) and a 2022-24 James R. Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellow, was recently featured in the Life@Tepper blog about her summer internship at Living Carbon—a public benefit corporation with the mission to rebalance the metabolic system of our planet.
Dao didn't want just any summer internship—which is a one of the requirements of being a Swartz Fellow—she wanted to join an early-stage startup working in climate technology. She is helping them to bridge the gap between the scientific and commercialization teams and creating a custom scientific knowledge base to be used both internally and externally.

CMU Graduate Students! Apply for the CSL Fellowship by August 25
The Corporate Startup Lab Fellowship is a unique opportunity for Carnegie Mellon graduate students to challenge themselves personally and professionally by working closely with a corporate client as part of an interdisciplinary graduate team. This competitive program works with major companies that have included global finance, automotive, industrial and healthcare leaders. Graduate students across CMU schools are encouraged to apply. Each student will be given a $4K stipend for their work.
The deadline to apply is August 25, 2023.
