Utah’s housing market may be showing signs of stabilization, but affordability remains one of the most pressing challenges facing Utah families—and a critical priority for policymakers. While there are encouraging signs, including a slight improvement in affordability and more affordable rental units, many Utahns remain priced out of homeownership. At the same time, Utah is projected to surpass 4 million residents by 2035, creating demand for an estimated 280,000 additional housing units.
Join industry leaders, decision-makers, and housing experts for a discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing the state’s housing market and what the latest housing data mean for policymakers, communities, and Utah families. The Gardner Institute will also release the latest “State of the State’s Housing Market” report and share highlights from the data during the event.
