As summer continues, HomeAid Colorado is busier than ever, with more housing projects in development than at any other time in our history. A special thank you to Denise McNeill for her dedication and coordination in helping move these projects forward.
July was also a busy month for our Care Days, with four volunteer teams completing five projects in support of our nonprofit partners.
Looking ahead, Growlers, Grapes & Spirits is just around the corner, and our Targeting Homelessness Clay Shoot. has moved to September 23, so there's still time to register. And save the date for September 1, when giving back is as easy as ordering Sexy Pizza (Jefferson Park location), with a portion of proceeds benefiting HomeAid Colorado.

If you've met Melinda, it won't surprise you that she quickly became a familiar face for us at networking events. She's friendly, welcoming, and passionate about helping her clients grow their businesses. She's also one of those people who genuinely enjoys bringing people together, making introductions, and building meaningful relationships.
Melinda has quickly become an active supporter of HomeAid Colorado, and we're always excited to welcome people who embrace our mission. She recently volunteered at her first HomeAid golf tournament and was a huge help in making the day run seamlessly. She also volunteered at Builders for Babies, and we're grateful for her willingness to jump in and make a difference.

It’s an exciting time for HomeAid Colorado, with several projects reaching major milestones and others moving closer to construction.

Tall Tales Ranch celebrated a major milestone with its groundbreaking ceremony, welcoming more than 100 people to mark the beginning of this long-awaited community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We were honored to hear from several Tall Tales Ranch ambassadors who will one day call the community home, along with Lone Tree Mayor Marissa Harmon and Douglas County Commissioner Abe Laydon. The afternoon was filled with hope and inspiration as we celebrated the vision becoming a reality.
The project was also featured on CBS Colorado’s Michael’s Mile. Michael Spencer shared the story of Ross, Pat, and Susan Mooney, whose family inspired the creation of Tall Tales Ranch, and highlighted HomeAid Colorado’s role as a partner in helping bring this important community to life.

Mountain States Children’s Home (MSCH) is officially in pre-construction, and we’re eager to see this project moving forward. MSCH provides a safe, nurturing home and therapeutic support for children who have experienced significant trauma and instability. BSB Design is generously supporting the project with architectural services, while AG Wassenaar is providing the necessary soils reports. We are incredibly grateful to Lennar, who will serve as Builder Captain and lead this project through construction.
We’re looking forward to debuting a special video at Growlers, Grapes & Spirits that will share more about MSCH, the children and families they serve, and why this project will make such a meaningful difference.

Four of six BeyondHome townhome renovations are now complete, led by Builder Captain Milender White. The renovated homes support BeyondHome’s work providing stable housing and services to families working towards self-sufficiency.
The WeeCycle warehouse renovation is nearing completion, with Sustainabuilt serving as Builder Captain. The project is improving staff office space and creating a new community space where WeeCycle can better connect with and serve local families.
Valor Landscape recently completed extensive landscaping surrounding Savio House's new townhome community. The homes will serve families where a parent is receiving treatment for substance use disorders, helping families remain connected and supported during recovery.

Summer Care Days are in Full Swing |
|
|
|
July was a busy month for Care Days, with four incredible teams volunteering across five Care Days to support our nonprofit partners.
Taylor Morrison joined us at BeyondHome, taking on the significant task of refreshing the exterior paint on one of the duplexes that serves families working toward self-sufficiency. Exterior painting is no small project! At Denver Children's Home, the team traded paintbrushes for ice cream and games, hosting an ice cream party and playing Pictionary with the children. While different from a typical Care Day project, the afternoon was filled with laughter, connection, and joy, creating meaningful memories for the children who call Denver Children's Home home.

Toll Brothers also spent the day at BeyondHome, rolling up their sleeves to complete landscaping and grounds improvements. Their efforts helped create inviting outdoor spaces that foster dignity, pride, and a greater sense of home for residents working toward long-term stability.

|
All Copy Products, a HomeAid Annual Giving Partner, spent their first Care Day giving back at Tennyson Center for Children. Their team rolled up their sleeves to help with yard maintenance in the garden, a special space created to give children the opportunity to connect with nature as part of their healing journey. Their hard work helped ensure this outdoor space remains a welcoming place where children can learn, grow, and heal.

|
Several members of CING (Construction Industry Networking Group) volunteered at WeeCycle, where their team spent the day painting to help refresh the space for the families WeeCycle serves. Their Care Day was especially meaningful as it complemented HomeAid Colorado's current build project at WeeCycle, demonstrating how volunteer service and construction partnerships work hand in hand to create an even greater impact. Thank you, CING, for helping us build brighter, more welcoming spaces for families in our community.
