Up Next: Distribution Day, June 14 – Sign Up to Volunteer |
Builders for Babies Diaper Distribution Day is when the diapers purchased through your generous donations are delivered and distributed to partner service providers. Our volunteers will organize the diapers by size, and then service providers can drive through to pick up the quantities they need in a fun, interactive assembly line. There will be a DJ to energize the crowd and food trucks for our volunteers.

We Nailed It! Final Donation Results |
This year, we set an ambitious goal: $350,000 in donations to purchase approximately 3 million essential baby items. We're thrilled to announce that we exceeded our goal and will distribute over 3.9 million in baby essentials. This incredible achievement wouldn't have been possible without the support of donors like YOU! Thank you—this is your accomplishment too, and we couldn’t be prouder of our incredible HomeAid community.

Third Way Center’s Bannock House Renovation |
Slowly but surely we're inching closer to commencing the construction renovations on Third Way Center’s Bannock House (you know the feeling!) We made significant progress in clearing out the 6,000 sq. ft. building, an essential first step in our renovation project. We aim to begin construction in the fall, setting the stage for the next phase of development.

| Thank you to Palace Construction for leading the way as our Builder Captain.

Third Way Center supports high-risk, disadvantaged, and often homeless adolescents and their families with complex mental health issues, helping them work toward trauma resolution and becoming a production member of their community.

Farewell to Meghan: Celebrating Her Journey at HomeAid |
As Meghan embarks on new adventures in the bustling streets of New York City, we bid her a fond farewell here at HomeAid. With her love for discovering new cities, this opportunity couldn’t be more fitting for her. Meghan’s journey at HomeAid began in 2021, just in time for Builders for Babies, and it seems serendipitous that she concludes her three-year tenure on Distribution Day, the final day of the diaper drive.
| |
Throughout her time at HomeAid, Meghan has been a beacon of creativity and innovation, infusing our marketing and communications with her signature flair. From her stellar graphics to her engaging emails she's the behind-the-scenes creator for all those emails that say ‘From Cindy’. Meghan's talents extend beyond the marketing realm; she's been a valued board member on the HBA Young Leaders Council and even graced the airwaves with her charming voice in two KOA radio interviews. And let’s not forget her dedication to Care Days—an endeavor that resulted in tripling the number of events per year. Unwittingly it was a passion she didn’t even know she had.
As we bid farewell, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for Meghan's kindness, unwavering positivity, and vibrant personality, which have left an unforgettable mark on the entire HomeAid community. We are truly grateful for her contributions and wish her all the best on her exciting new journey.
