[3] Microadventure After Microadventure in Seattle Southside

A trip doesn't have to be of epic proportions to be incredible. In fact, some of the best travel stories come from finding joy, wonder, and fun in unexpected places.
That's why here in Seattle Southside we are focusing on the microadventure - the walk off the beaten path that takes you on an incredible journey without taking up too much of your time, energy, or cash. They're the perfect antidote to the short gap in an attendee's schedule before or after a conference, giving them the most wow out of their trip to your event.
Most recently, we've featured an out-of-this world mural, ice cream served in a fish, noodles and history, and a round of golf with a round of beers. Curious about these curiously wonderful microadventures? Learn more on our blog as we highlight a new microadventure every week.

[4] Breaking Boundaries

As Frida's birthday approaches on July 6th (1907), we are reminded of the powerful impact of her artwork.
Frida is a celebrated queer female artist admired for her activism. Throughout her artwork, she addressed disability while challenging beauty norms and patriarchal frameworks. As association professionals, we have the opportunity to use our work to address Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) like Frida!

Please visit our DEI Toolkit* to strengthen your knowledge and continue on your DEI learning journey! *Toolkit includes a 2023 Diversity Calendar to learn about more holidays and special dates celebrated this year.
