The nationally ranked UW-Whitewater volleyball team is set to host its annual Dig Panici Night this Friday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. at Russell Arena. The team is comprised of a balanced mix of accomplished returners, experienced transfers and talented freshmen.

| More than 400 Warhawks named to WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll
|
A total of 416 UW-Whitewater student-athletes representing all 22 of the institution's varsity sport programs were named to the 2023-24 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Scholastic Honor Roll.

Kudos to Andrew Nine, lecturer in physics, who was awarded a $70,000 grant from NASA. The project is focused on investigating large (Jupiter-sized) planets outside our solar system that are in close orbits to their stars. The goal is to learn more about the dynamics that shape planetary systems.

Rose Pekarek, an art major from McHenry, Illinois, was highlighted in a Daily Herald (Arlington Heights, Illinois) article after designing the winning car door wrap for McHenry Parks and Recreation. The car will be on display at the Manufacturing, Trades and Industry (MTI) Expo at McHenry Community High School this week.
