Easter Flowers - Deadline Tomorrow: If you would like to contribute to help offset the cost of the flowers that will adorn the Church this Easter, contact Parish Coordinator Tonika Hilliard, or click here. Be sure to select Flower Fund from the drop-down menu. Contributions may be made in memory of or in thanksgiving for loved ones. For your memorial/thanksgiving to be included in service leaflets on Easter Day, it must reach the Parish Office by Thursday, April 10, at noon.
Sunday School Update: Classes will not be held on Palm Sunday, April 13, Easter Day, April 20, or Sunday, April 27. On Sunday, May 4, Sunday School classes will meet for the first time in the newly-renovated Linthicum Hall.
Easter Egg Hunt: All children of the parish, along with their families, are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 20, 10:15 a.m., at the Georgetown home of a parish family. Volunteers are needed to assist with event preparation, refreshments, and clean up. For more information or to sign up, please contact John Korsmo.
The Seasoned Lunch Club: The next meeting of the season lunch group will be on share Wednesday, April 23 at 11:45 am. Please note that this is a change from what was scheduled. All are welcome.
Christ Church Art Show: We are delighted to announce the return of the Christ Church Art Show, a beloved parish event that did not take place in 2024 due to the renovation of Linthicum Hall. This year’s show will take place on Saturday, April 26, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday, April 27, 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in the C. Boyden Gray Auditorium. It will feature the work of nearly 30 local artists – many of whom are parishioners. All proceeds from the sale of art work will benefit parish outreach programs. Admission is free. All are welcome. Grand Opening of Linthicum Hall: On Sunday, April 27, we will gather as one parish for a single service of Holy Eucharist at 10:00 a.m. in the church. Immediately following the service, all are warmly invited to a festive reception in celebration of the grand opening of Linthicum Hall. We look forward to celebrating with you. Christ Church Women’s Retreat: Looking for an opportunity to enter into Resurrection joy? Join your Christ Church sisters for a weekend of prayer and play, reflection and recreation, feasting and fun. The retreat will take place from Friday, May 2 to Sunday, May 4 in historic Cambridge, Maryland. For more information or to register, click here. The deadline for registration is Thursday, April 24.

Christ Church Career Connections: Conscious that many in the DC metro area may be between jobs, the clergy have revived a program that aims to connect job seekers with potential employers. If you are looking for work, or know someone who is, Christ Church offers the opportunity to submit your resume to a confidential file. Those looking to hire can request access to relevant resumes and CVs. While we won’t list names publicly, we will share the areas in which people are seeking employment. Whether you’re job hunting or hiring, starting close to home might be a great option. To participate, send your resume and contact the Rector.
If you are looking for people or know of someone who is, we currently have people interested in the following areas; Intl/ Gov affairs/ coms / public policy,  National Security/ Crisis Management, HR, Project Management, Government Affairs/ Lobbying, Editing/Admin/Research/Writing, Paralegal or Legal Assistant, and IT.
Christ Church Career Connections is a ministry dedicated to supporting parishioners and those they would vouch for in seasons of vocational transition. Through networking, mentorship, prayer, and practical resources, we walk alongside one another in the search for meaningful work and purpose.
Thursday Morning Bible Study: Parishioners of all ages and stages of life are invited to this fortnightly study of selected psalms, co-led by parishioners Ernest Clark, Virginia Mentz, and David Straut. Sessions will take place on Thursdays, April 10 and 24, May 8 and 22, and June 5, at 8:00 a.m., in Keith Hall. Preparation for discussions is beneficial, but not essential. 
Young Professionals Happy Hour: The next Young Professionals Happy Hour will take place on Thursday, April 10, 6:00 p.m., at Le Bar à Vin (at Chez Billy Sud): 1039 31st Street, NW. All parishioners in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, along with family members, friends, and colleagues, are invited to attend. For more information, contact Father Nate Huddleston.
Prime Timers: Originally conceived as a small group for individuals age 50 and over, Prime Timers is now open to all members of the parish community. The group will gather for dinner and discussion on the second Thursday of each month, at 6:30 p.m., in Keith Hall. Saint Francis Guild Volunteer Opportunity: Join members of the Saint Francis Guild, Christ Church’s animal welfare and creation care mission committee, in partnering with Georgetown neighbors to restore landscape designer Beatrix Farrand's only remaining wild garden. Volunteers are needed on Saturday, April 12, Tuesday, April 22 (Earth Day), Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Dumbarton Oaks. Faith 2.0: Join this vibrant group of young professionals as they seek to deepen faith and fellowship by walking together through the current chapter of their spiritual journeys. Gatherings are held on Sundays, 10:00 a.m., at L.A. Burdick Chocolate Shop and Café: 1319 Wisconsin Avenue, NW. For more information, contact parishioner Adriane Connerton.
Bite-sized Bible Study: Join fellow parents of nursery and Sunday School-aged children for a team-led, 30-minute exploration of the Book of Psalms. The group gathers on Sundays, at 10:15 a.m., on the second floor of the Church building. Nursery care for infants and toddlers, as well as supervised, age-appropriate activities for older children, is provided in the Chapel of Saint Jude. Choral Evensong: The next service of Choral Evensong will take place on Palm Sunday, April 13, at 5:00 p.m. The liturgy will include works by Thomas Ayleward, William Byrd, Orlando Gibbons, and Thomas Attwood Walmisley. A reception will follow. Evensong will continue on the first, third, and fifth Sundays of the month through May. Do join us… and bring a friend! NOTE: In keeping with longtime parish custom, Evensong will be sung on Easter Day, April 20, at 5:00 p.m.
Women’s Bible Study: All women of the parish and their guests are invited to participate in an exploration of the Book of Exodus, a captivating and poetic narrative that tells the story of God’s liberation of his people from slavery in Egypt and his gift of the law at Mount Sinai. The group will meet on Tuesdays, April 29, May 6 and 13, and June 10, at 6:00 p.m., in Keith Hall. Those who are unable to attend in person are welcome to participate virtually.
