Commitment to the STEMM Ecosystem |
|
|
AnitaB.org recently sent a commitment form to the STEMM Opportunity Alliance, which is a new effort by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and the American Association for the Advancement of Science to galvanize stakeholders across the STEMM ecosystem. The federal government has made historic investments in science and technology, through the CHIPS and Science Act, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the Inflation Reduction Act. But we know fundamental changes to the STEMM ecosystem will be needed to ensure these investments can deliver equitable outcomes. At recent White House forums on STEMM equity, stakeholders from across sectors discussed the need for a national concerted effort to ensure the STEMM ecosystem is pre-eminent, equitable, and inclusive.
