Volunteers are still needed for the school health screening on Tuesday, September 24th and our re-screening on Tuesday, October 8th. Please consider helping with these events! After School Care Employment Opportunity: The hours for this part-time position would be Monday through Friday from 2:45 P.M.-6 P.M. during the school year August-May. The pay is $13.50 per hour. Email Diane Warneke at warneked@svdpomaha.org to apply for this position.

School Cafeteria Employment Opportunity: St. Vincent de Paul Catholic elementary school kitchen is accepting applications for a full-time position. Help put smiles on students’ faces by preparing fresh cooked meals daily! Looking for a “self-starter” whose duties include prepping and serving meals, running the Point of Sale program, cleaning up and assisting in the kitchen as needed. It is a fast-paced environment with some heavy lifting involved. Work hours follow the school calendar. The hours are M-F 7:30 A.M. to 2 P.M. on all days that school lunch is served. 2024-2025 BASKETBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Online registrations are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 SVdP basketball season for boys and girls in grades 3-8 who are registered in the SVdP Religious Education or 5-Day School programs. Registration fees are $75.00, with registration ending on October 11.

On September 12th, the team ran in the Bergan High School invite at Camp Crest.
As a team, the girls earned 3rd with Tatum Houghton in the top 15, placing 1st.  

The boys in the top 15 were

Brendan Eriksen -14th

Charlie Dietz - 7th 

John Boesch - 1st

As a team, the boys tied Cornerstone for 1st but lost the tiebreaker, which came down to who had the better 4th place finisher for the team.

On the 17th at Walnut Grove Park, the team ran in the first meet of the PAL season.
The girls team placed 6th with Tatum Houghton placing 1st. The boys team placed 3rd with Nolan Cheney placing 12th and John Boesch placing 4th.

Administrative Assistant Job Opening In SVdP Parish OFFICE

We are now accepting resumes for an Administrative Assistant in the Parish Office. Job duties include interacting with parishioners and visitors in person, receiving phone calls, and completing clerical and data entry responsibilities. Candidate should be proficient in Word, Excel, database, and email programs. This is a 12-month position, 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday (8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.).
