How can a librarian help you?

There is so much information to sift through!  We know that sometimes it's tough to know where to begin.  Not only can we help you get started, we can help you find and evaluate resources for your assignments and projects.  Our offices are on the main floor of the Library in the Research Help area. We're available in person, via chat, email, Zoom, etc.. We look forward to working with you!

Spotlight on: Archives and Special Collections

Would you like to know more about the formation of the College of Engineering, the 55 years of the Black Arts Festival, or Japanese American students who attended Bucknell during World War II? Special Collections/University Archives holds collections of primary source and rare and unique books that are available for students (and others) to use. University archives contains the records of Bucknell’s history. Special collections includes gems such as a first edition "On the Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin, artist books showcasing social justice issues (several of which are currently on display), and illuminated manuscript leaves from the 15th century. You may visit during a class session or schedule a time to research your personal or academic interests.
