                   AOQF Course Submission Dates

The Austin Peay State University Online Quality Fundamentals (AOQF) exemplifies our dedication to excellence in online education. In two years, over 140 courses have been certified, supported by 24 peer reviewers. In 2024-2025 alone, we are on track for 70 courses to receive this certification. This initiative fosters collaboration, prioritizes student success, and engages faculty by ensuring our online courses adhere to five foundational principles of course design.

1. RE-ENABLE HONORLOCK AFTER A COURSE COPY

After a course copy, please re-enable: In your D2L Course, go to Tools > Honorlock and then click Enable. Review settings for each Honorlock exam that was copied, then save your settings. Screenshot of Honorlock interface.

2. ALLOW STUDENTS TO FAMILIARIZE THEMSELVES WITH THE HONORLOCK PROCTORING PROCESS

Get your students prepared for Honorlock this fall! To help them succeed, give them an opportunity to experience the Honorlock proctoring process prior to any graded exams. View the resources on our Honorlock Faculty website for more information on test-driving the Honorlock experience.

3. HONORLOCK UPDATES

a. Action Items: Honorlock has introduced the new Action Items section at the top of the Honorlock area in your D2L course. This feature is designed to help faculty efficiently monitor sessions that require follow-up, making it easier to address any violations flagged by Honorlock proctors.

 b. Feedback on Proctoring Results: You can now provide feedback on flags and violations added by proctors when reviewing an Honorlock session. Let them know if the results were helpful by providing your input, as it will directly contribute to improving the proctoring process.

New Tools: Panorama & LockDown Browser

Flyer of two new D2L tools: Panorama and LockDown Browser. Panorama is a digital accessibility tool that displays accessibility icons, allows remediation of issues, and provides students with alternative formats via blue icons—without showing scores. It should not be used on Creator+ Pages. LockDown Browser secures in-person tests by locking down student devices during D2L quizzes. It features a dedicated tab in D2L quizzes, is ideal for face-to-face testing, and requires students to download the browser. LDB and Honorlock cannot be used simultaneously.

Two new tools are now available! Visit our Tech Tools and Resources webpage for our complete suite of tools, including the latest additions.
