Does anyone else feel like summer has flown by?! Somehow we are just a month away from move-in days. We're busy preparing campus to welcome your student(s) and can't wait for their arrival. 

Remind your student to check their Lipscomb email for information about the move in, classes and upcoming events during the first week of classes. 

Enjoy the last few weeks of summer! We look forward to seeing you on campus soon!

PARENT NEWS
The Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement is hosting several more Summer Send-Offs over the next few weeks. We have enjoyed meeting new and current families in Dallas, Lexington, Murfreesboro, Newport Beach, Westerville/Columbus and Chicago. This year's schedule wraps up with stops in Cincinnati, Green Hills, Chattanooga, Memphis and Franklin. Click here for more details and registration links.

Bison Parent Prayer Gathering image
Join us for the Parent Prayer Zoom on Tuesday, Aug. 5! During the summer months, the monthly prayer Zooms have continued on the first Tuesday of the month. Current Lipscomb parents Ron and Suellen Moen are leading the online events this summer. These prayer gatherings are a great way to stay connected with Lipscomb families and to continue to pray over our students.

Dinner celebrates Lipscomb legacy famiiies
On Aug. 11, the Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement is hosting the Legacy Dinner for our newest Bisons. This dinner is for incoming freshmen and transfer students whose parents or grandparents graduated from Lipscomb University.
We are excited to have another generation of these families at Lipscomb. Details and registration can be found here.

Bisons Weekend, a combination of a family weekend and homecoming, is Nov. 13-15! 
Leading up to the weekend, lots of activities on campus are planned for our students, and a wide variety of events and activities for everyone take place during the weekend. You don’t want to miss this weekend! Go ahead and book those hotel rooms!

Lipscomb's new core curriculum supersedes its previous general education curriculum this coming fall. Learn more below about how Journey: Lipscomb Core was developed and how it will prepare our students to flourish in the workplace.

HOUSING
Move-In Days
Freshmen/Transfers: August 11 & 12   |   Returning Students: August 16 & 17
Make sure your students have checked their Lipscomb emails. On June 20, all students received an email from their RHD about their housing assignment and move-in day sign-up information. If they have any questions, they can contact their RHD directly.

DINING
Dining Services: Things Parents Need to Know
Whether your student is starting their Lipscomb journey or returning to their home away from home, the dining team is ready to fuel their year with great food, flexible options and rewarding perks.
