FROM THE PARENT PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Thank you for your support this year. It’s a privilege to be a resource for our Lipscomb family, and we greatly appreciate our partnership with each of you. 

Our office, along with many others on campus, will be busy this summer welcoming the parents and families of incoming students during orientation. Summer Send-Offs are being hosted in eight cities. We would love to see you there if an event is in your town. Check out the information in the Summer Send-Off section below. If you know a family who is sending a new student to Lipscomb University, encourage them to connect with us. We always enjoy meeting our new Bison families!

Upcoming Key Dates
Learn more about Summer Send-Off.
This summer, the Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement will host Summer Send-Offs for incoming freshmen students and their families—and current parents and students are invited to attend, too! Join an area event to help welcome these families and answer questions they have about life at Lipscomb!
These informal gatherings provide the perfect chance for new Bison families to meet each other and visit with alumni, current students and parents. Click here to learn more and register.
Purchase Sounds tickets
Cheer on our hometown Nashville Sounds with fellow Bisons as the Sounds host the Norfolk Tides with fellow Bisons! Representatives of the Lipscomb community will greet alumni, students, families and friends on the plaza as they enter First Horizon Ballpark. Lipscomb President Candice McQueen (’96) will throw out the first pitch, and alumna Kelle Cates (’23) will sing the National Anthem. Other members of the Lipscomb community will be featured throughout the night. Fireworks will cap off the night’s festivities!
Tickets for the Lipscomb group in Section 105 are $19 each before taxes and fees. The Office of Alumni & Parent Engagement will add a $10 concessions voucher to each ticket purchased. We look forward to this fun night in Nashville! Purchase tickets.

BISONS WEEKEND Save-the-Date: Nov. 10-11, 2023

Mark your calendars for Friday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 11 for Bisons Weekend! Many events—such as ball games, the fall musical, a parade, parent events, chapel, Bison Square Fair, reunions ... just to name a few—are being planned for the weekend.
Like any family gathering, it will not be the same without YOU. More information will be coming soon. Registration opens in late summer. In the meantime, click the link below to experience the 2022 Bisons Weekend recap video!

SPRING 2023 COMMENCEMENT
Families of graduates, CONGRATULATIONS! Your student made it—and so did you! It's exciting to see what our newest alumni will do in the future. To our new-grad parents, you will always be part of the Bison Herd. We hope you continue to stay connected with Lipscomb University!

HOUSING
Move-in Weekend: August 19-20
Returning students: Saturday, August 19 and Sunday, August 20
You will be able to sign up for a time to unload your car. After your designated hour, your family and friends are allowed to stay as long as you need to get your room ready!
Students will receive an email from their residence hall director by Monday, July 10 with a link to sign up for a move-in day. Click here for more move-in info!
