Generosity 2026

Generosity 2026

As we continue our Generosity campaign, let us remember that our giving is rooted in God’s abundant provision. It is easy to fall into a fear of scarcity—the worry that there may not be enough to meet our needs. However, the Apostle Paul reminds us that in Christ, and through God’s great love, we will always have more than enough. This assurance gives us strength, as Paul writes, in all circumstances. Because of this promise, we are empowered to be a light, living with confident joy and generosity in every season. Isaiah also reminds us that God is doing a new thing—right here in our midst. Take a look at what we have already accomplished together: $2,932,777 from 344 families. That is the power of generosity in action! Through your faithful giving, Westminster continues to grow, thrive, and move forward in faith as part of the family of Christ. It is a testament to God’s work among us, uniting us to support one another on this journey. What a glorious gift.

Adult education classes start at 9:45 a.m.

Covenant Class • Fellowship Hall

Advent, Incarnation, and the Call to Community
Advent is often spoken of in multiple tenses—past, present, & future. It is a season when the church looks backward to celebrate the birth of Christ, looks to the present for signs of Christ among us, and, lastly, looks forward in anticipation of Christ’s return.

This class will explore these various “tenses” of Advent through a theological and Biblical examination of incarnation and community. We’ll discuss the meanings of
Advent and how this season calls us to a new, shared life in Christ. All are welcome!

W.B. Yeats once said, “Things fall apart.” They do. But we believe, in the words of Craig Barnes, that “God is not nearly done pulling together the things that have fallen apart.”
