On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Colorado College community will gather to honor the start of a new chapter for the College: the inauguration of Dr. Manya C. Whitaker as the 15th president.

This historic day is designed for you — our community. Together, we’ll celebrate the innovative spirit of the Block Plan, the power of collaborative leadership, and the enduring purpose of the liberal arts.

  • Community Breakfast | 8:30 a.m. | Ed Robson Arena
  • Block Talks | Immediately following breakfast | Ed Robson Arena
    A series of short, dynamic, and thought-provoking talks from CC faculty and staff.
  • Inauguration Ceremony | 11 a.m. | Celeste Theatre, Cornerstone Arts Center (tickets required)
    Community Livestream Viewing | 11 a.m. | Screening Room, Cornerstone Arts Center (or tune in from anywhere!)
  • Reception | Immediately following the ceremony | Ed Robson Arena

Ticket Information
Seating in Celeste Theatre is limited. A small number of in-person ceremony tickets will be released on Monday, October 6, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Watch your email that day for instructions! Tickets are only required for the in-person ceremony in Celeste Theatre — all other events, including the community livestream viewing, are open to everyone.

Can’t join live? Both Block Talks and the inauguration ceremony will be recorded and shared for viewing in the week following the event.
