As we approach the final stretch of the semester, I’d like to share love and gratitude for the CC community. I know this time of year can feel overwhelming as we strive to finish classes and cross off our to-do lists before Winter Break. When that long break arrives, please use it as I plan to: resting, recharging, and doing the things that bring joy.
In the new year, I will offer various opportunities for the campus community, alumni, parents, and families to learn more about the progress we’ve made toward our priorities of institutional strength and reclaiming the liberal arts – as well as my thoughts on the challenges and opportunities that await us in 2025.

To our students: Thank you for your unwavering kindness, commitment to learning, and adventurous spirit. You inspire and humble me every day — you are the reason, above all, that I am so proud to lead CC.
To our faculty and staff: Thank you for leveraging your expertise to fiercely advocate and care for our students — making the CC experience the best it can possibly be for them.
To our alumni: Thank you for being ambassadors for CC in your communities — and for embodying the ethos of the liberal arts, making a difference in everything you do.
To our CC parents, families, and student supporters: Thank you for entrusting us with your loved ones and for being such champions of their success.
