I hope your student’s break offered time to rest, reconnect and enjoy time at home. As students return to campus this weekend, we’re excited to see our community come back together and begin a new semester.
Classes start next week, and this is a good moment for students to settle in, review their schedules and reestablish routines. Please remind your Bobcat to take things one step at a time and to use the many campus resources available to support their academic and personal success. We’re here to support them as the semester gets underway.

Keeping our residence halls cozy |
Our housing staff have been checking all residence hall spaces to ensure the heat is functioning properly to prepare for your student's return. If your student experiences heating issues, ensure all windows are closed, window air conditioning units are turned off, check that heating units are not blocked by furniture to allow for proper air flow, and make sure the vents on the heating units are open (some rooms have dampers you can adjust). If they are still having trouble, they should contact their RA or member of their hall staff first. Their RA can troubleshoot to determine if a work order is needed.

The initial payment due date for spring semester is January 21, 2026.
