This week in chapel with the 1st - 3rd grades, we will put their fingerprints on a bulletin board.

We will talk about how they are God's hands, feet, and heart in the world.

Each week, I will ask them a question to help them notice God's fingerprints in the world.

This week are question is, where did you see JOY this week? It could be something they did, or someone else did. They may have multiple examples. 

 

1st Grade - Instructed Communion is Sunday, October 26. This is a workshop during the Sunday School hour to help children and parents learn more about baptism and communion together.

5th and 6th Grades - Faith and Puberty Workshop

Parent meeting in the chapel on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 10 am. I will go over everything we talk about and how I cover it. You can decide if it is a good fit for your family.

Tweens – noon – 2:45 with lunch provided

Parents join us at 2:45 – 3:30 PM

We know this is a chunk of time for families on busy weekends. Please know we take that seriously and will use your time wisely. We do make sure there is LOTS of fun involved for the tweens and you all!  There is defiantly candy in the mix as well!

We will do all the things, canteen, play on the playground, field day, duck race, talent show, worship, and visit on the porches.

It is precious time to be together, to be unplugged, to have fun, and focus on God.

5:30-6:30 pm in the Cafe at WPC

Mark your calendar and join us for dinner! We meet every Wednesday in September and February, and the first Wednesday of the month otherwise. $10 per person. $40 family max. Sign up weekly using the QR code in the bulletin or the link in the weekly newsletter.

Every Wednesday Night Dinner afternoon the cafe will open at 4 pm for games, puzzles, crafts, open gym, and playground time for families. Join us for an afternoon of play before dinner together at 5:30! (Parents are in charge of children.)
