Upcoming Block & Semester Away Deadlines

Thursday, May 1 is an important date for students who have been accepted into a fall study away program. May 1 is the deadline for all fall semester and academic year abroad students to commit to their program on Summit. This includes the CC in Berlin and CC in Bishkek programs, as well as all partner-led semester and year away programs. This same date is also the withdrawal and commitment deadline for the Block 2 programs in New York. Students who do not complete the confirmation process by May 1 will be removed from these blocks away. Students who wish to withdraw must do so by this date to avoid late withdrawal charges (25% of the program fee). For students in Off-Campus Blocks for Block 3 or Block 4, the deadline for confirmation or withdrawal is Friday, Aug. 1.

Calls to Action
It’s Election Day!

CC Votes would like to remind all eligible voters that today, Apr. 1 is election day for the Colorado Springs General Municipal Election. This election will decide who will represent you on City Council. Ballots must be dropped in a Ballot Drop Box by 7 p.m. today. CC has a Ballot Drop box located outside of the Boettcher Center, near Loomis Hall. For more information on this election please visit the CC Votes page.

Study Abroad or Away in 2025-26

While both the main application window for 2025-26 Blocks Away and the Fall Semester Application Deadline have passed, there are still opportunities for you to study away next year. You can explore the Off-Campus Blocks for next year, and then contact the faculty for any blocks that interest you to see if they have remaining space. CC Block Away Aid may be limited or unavailable at this time, but many programs are still accepting applications. And, while fall semester away applications are closed, the spring semester away programs, both CC faculty-led and our partner-led, remain open for applications. Explore your spring semester away options and then complete the appropriate program applications on Summit, including the required “Internal Application” for all our partner-led spring semester away programs. Semester Away programs do not require new aid awards. You pay CC semester tuition, and your standard aid is adjusted to meet the expenses of any approved semester away, including airfare and other travel and living expenses, keeping your family’s cost for a semester the same as for on campus.

Join us at the CCE’s Annual Senior Symposium on Tuesday, Apr. 22 from 3-5 p.m.!
