The Language of Love Parade

One of the highlights of every Al‑Anon International Convention is the Language of Love Parade. Whether you are marching or observing, the Parade is the ultimate celebration of the worldwide fellowship of Al‑Anon Family Groups.
The Language of Love Parade will kick off the 2023 Al‑Anon International Convention on Friday morning, June 30, with music, displays, and costumes.
Registration to participate in the Parade will open mid‑May 2023. Be sure to register for the Convention prior to that time to be notified when parade registration opens.

Professional Perspectives on Al‑Anon

Cooperating with professionals broadens Al‑Anon’s scope and helps reach many more of those in need. While Al‑Anon members’ Twelfth Step work remains non‑professional, professionals can help us better understand the disease of alcoholism. The interviews found under “Professional Perspectives on Al‑Anon” share not only the trauma that affects family members of drinkers but also how Al‑Anon and Alateen family groups can help. Check out our on‑camera interviews and consider sharing them on social media.

Guarding Anonymity on Credit Card Statements

When you order Al‑Anon books or magazine subscriptions or donate to the World Service Office using a credit card, Al‑Anon will not appear on your credit card statement. You will instead see AFG Inc., which is the abbreviation for Al‑Anon Family Groups. We do this to protect the anonymity of our members. Please do not report valid charges by AFG Inc. as fraudulent.
